Why choose a Cork Handbag
Each handbag I make showcases the unique grain and texture of natural cork, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly the same. Cork fabric is exceptionally tough, naturally water resistant, and sustainably grown in ancient forests in Portugal that support diverse ecosystems, helping to combat climate change, with the cork bark harvest taking place every 9 to 12 years allowing the tree to live for over 250 years, all helping to make the bags as practical as they are beautiful.
If you view the 'Handbags' page you will discover the various styles of bags that I have in stock and the options that are currently available, altough these are constantly changing as sales are made and new bags designed. A large Tote Style Cork Handbag, made with sustainably grown, naturally water resistant fabric. The bag has a large central pocket with an internal zip pocket and also a top closing zip. The carry handles allow you to wear the bag on your shoulder.
